We invite you to experience Tybee Island’s Endless Summer

Desoto Condo Rental on Tybee Island

tybee island's endless summer

Sure, the idea of Fall is extremely appealing; but do those short days & cold weather have you craving a little beach time?

On Tybee Island we love our “Endless Summer” Beach Season. This time of year is right after Labor Day and goes all the way up until Thanksgiving. The crowds have subsided. Tybee Island becomes a hidden beach retreat! The daytime weather is usually a warm 80ish and a crisp cool temperature in the evenings.

After a relaxing day at the beach, throw on a light jacket, and head out to one of the local restaurants for live music and happy hour specials! One of our favorite Endless Summer hot spots is the North Beach Bar and Grill. Or, imagine yourself under a Tybee sunset, filled with a sky that has turned orange and purple, grilling for your family and friends.

If those thoughts are not enough to have you rushing to book your beach getaway, before the hectic holidays, check out our discounts and specials!

Here is our pick of 5 Tybee Rentals that will have you swooning for an Endless Summer Getaway! #endlesssummer

Something for Everyone on Tybee Island

Don’t miss these upcoming events on Tybee Island!

Tybee may be small, but summertime on the island is packed full of fun activities for all ages. Whether you’re coming to Tybee Island for a family vacation, a romantic getaway, or you’re a low country local looking for a beach “stay-cation”, there is something for everyone here on the island.

Movies on the Island

Many beach vacationers are seeking family friendly events. Too sunburnt to beach bum? Although the closest movie theatre is in Savannah, if you’re interested in seeing a flick on the island, there are several options! Check out the showing of “Sing” at Memorial Park on June 17th right after sunset. This marks the first of many “Movies in the Park” this summer!

They are also featuring “Gray’s Reef Tuesdays” which includes weekly showings of fascinating films about marine life and the Georgia coast.

Sunset Evenings

No children to entertain? Tybee also offers things to do for couples craving a date night. The Tybee Island Lighthouse is offering sunset tours during the month of June.  These tours are small and cozy. There is no better way to end a beach day than to witness the sprawling Tybee sunset with 360 degree views from the lighthouse.  After the sunset, end your romantic evening with local music at the Tybee Post Theater; “Tybee City Limits” is a recurring event that features local musicians.
