Doc House
Doc House is a dog-friendly* home located on Tybee Island's picturesque back river area and is minutes from the Tybee Pier and Pavillion. This updated Island cottage has four bedrooms, a large floating private covered gazebo, and many amenities that will have you coming back year after year. Overlooking Tybee's back river allows you to experience a Tybee sunrise, and views of the infamous Little Tybee, and watch the resident dolphin families fish and explore the coastal waterways.
If fishing is your sport, what is better than being able to fish directly from your own dock? The convenient floating dock will accommodate a boat of up to 23'.
This beach cottage features an open living space floor plan perfect for gathering with family and friends. The cozy living space features plenty of seating and large 55" high-definition TV. A large dining table with a water view and plenty of seating offers a convenient area for everyone to enjoy meals together. Adjacent to the dining area is the updated kitchen with plenty of space and everything you need to prepare meals. A large screened-in patio, located right off the dining area, is the perfect retreat for lounging in the evenings or enjoying your morning coffee.
Also on the home's ground floor is a bonus game room with a queen sleeper sofa, air hockey table, and high-definition TV perfect for movie or game night! A half bathroom and shower room are easily accessed off the hallway leading from the kitchen area to the bonus game room.
The top floor of the Doc House has four spacious bedrooms. Bedroom #1 has a King bed with access to a waterfront balcony. Bedroom #2 has a King bed and also has access to the waterfront balcony. Bedroom #3 has two Queen beds and access to an adjoining bathroom. Bedroom #4 has a King bed and access to a semi-shared bathroom with Bedroom #3.
Parking for Four vehicles.

*A maximum of two dogs are allowed per reservation.
Additional fee for pet. $95 per pet.

The floating dock and gazebo do not have electricity.

We have stayed at several places with Oceanfront and enjoyed them all. This one, just wow! The view is beyond amazing. The screened in porch, you can sit outside when it’s raining and still enjoy the beautiful view. The large dining room table is very nice, we have family in Savannah and we had room for them with all the seating. I will definitely rent this next year for our vacation. Love this placeThat is simply wonderful to hear!! We love to hear that our guests enjoy all parts of our home from the views to the furnishings. Please come back again....and again!! We would love to have you!

The house was great. 10 out of 10 Would definitely recommend this house for anyone with a large family. House had everything you could need and plenty of space. The only downside of the weekend was the weather (rain all day Saturday and 30 mph wind), but the house was plenty big enough that even though we were inside all day we did not feel couped up. Thank you for your hospitality.
This is absolutely wonderful to hear! The owner has been refreshing the house with a new furniture that is perfect for a large group including an extra long dining table and large comfy couch! Please come back soon and we will hope for you for no rain! Hope to see you soon at Doc House!

My family and I stay on Tybee every year. This was our first time staying at the Doc House, but it was our favorite! The furniture is spacious and comfortable with enough seating for all of us. The beds were lovely. The showers were very nice. Check-In and Check-Out were painless, no-contact experiences. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for something in the area.Thank you for your review of Doc House! The owner just replaced the couch, chairs, rugs, dining table and chairs, patio furniture and more. Thank you so much for noticing! Doc House truly has it all on top of it having a private doc!
