Lovingly maintained and thoughtfully updated, the home preserves much of its historic charm while offering the conveniences today's travelers expect. The main living level features comfortable gathering spaces designed for relaxing after a day in the sun. What is parking like for this home?
Guests will have access to parking accommodations for up to three vehicles directly at the home, making it easy for families and groups to explore Tybee Island throughout their stay. If your group is traveling with additional vehicles, parking may be available at the Oceanfront Cottage Rentals office with advance approval. Please contact our team prior to arrival so we can assist with parking arrangements.

Right on beach.. would have liked some shades in the windows on beach side for privacy. It’s an older cottage but plenty of room with 4 bedrooms for the 4 of us. It was very clean ..The outside doors need some maintenance. but.. all in all it was exactly what we wanted. We had a great time.5/25/2024 at 7:18 PMHi Janice! This property was more than we even expected! It was clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed. The house is nicely furnished. Just steps to the beach. The online pictures don’t do it justice! Highly recommend.

We (5 adults-Mom & kids with partners) had a fantastic time at this wonderful property. The house is great - comfortable, beautiful & perfectly situated. Steps to the beach and an easy bike ride anywhere on the island. We had bikes, chairs & beach cart delivered by Tim’s Rentals at the start of our trip and used them every day.

This beach house is simply amazing. It is charming and well appointed. As far as the previous comment regarding ocean views, I have never seen a first floor beach home with a view of the beach. The dunes are protection for the house from the ocean. I looked at the description and no where does it say you can see the ocean from the first floor, so the description is not misleading. The master bedroom has an amazing handicapped accessible shower. I have stayed here once and frequent this page dreaming that I can go back again with my family! The two star review above is invalid based on false information.Thank you so much for your kind review. We are so happy that you had a lovely time on beautiful Tybee Island. My sisters and I took our 91 year old mother (she uses a walker and/or cane) to this house because of the description of the downstairs bedroom and bathroom and the view that was promised. The description of "no dunes between the house and the beach" and "you can from the covered porch directly to the beach" "views from the downstairs porch of the ships going to the Savannah River" made this sound like the perfect location for Mom. Reality: There are very tall manmade sand dunes that completely block the view from the downstairs deck. Since my mother could not make the climb to the second floor, so she was not able to see the ocean. What a disappointment! This is a great house for a mobile family but it did not deliver the views it promised.

This is not your typical souless condo or Ikea-laden rental house. It is a real family home, and you can feel it the minute you walk in. The kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped to make the most specialized dinners. The antiques in the house add charm and a sense of heritage. There are plenty of seats and beds for a large family to sleep comfortably and everyone have their own little corner. The placement right on the beach makes it so convenient.
