Holidays are better at the beach!
Sometimes, Thanksgiving and Christmas can be a stressful time of the year. We scramble last minute to prepare a Thanksgiving feast, we fight lines and crowds at the mall to ensure everyone gets what they want for Christmas, and even when we manage to get all the gifts and food prepared, often we still have an unsatisfied family member or two!
We have the perfect solution!
Tybee Island’s winter is randomly interspersed with warm and sunny days, so it’s the perfect place to escape the winter blues. Why not spend the holidays here? The sound of the waves crashing against the shore is absolutely tranquilizing and melts away the stress of the holidays.
We believe everyone in the family will be a lot more relaxed at the beach. The atmosphere on Tybee during off-season is even more laid back than summer (if you can imagine that!) It is mostly locals and families staying at this time. The winter months slow down the pace here on the island, and there will be times where it feels like you have to beach all to yourself. Being on the ocean has a natural, calming effect on us.
Not only will everyone be more zen over the holidays on the island, but there are still plenty of fun things to do here to keep everyone entertained.
