Oceanfront Cottage Rentals, LLC proudly represents this newly updated amazing duplex town home. Location, location, location! Directly waterfront on Tybee Island’s exclusive Back River with dock.
Not only are you overlooking “Little Tybee” and our beautiful Back River, you have a lovely lawn to enjoy with friends and family. Each side of the home is 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. One side may be rented or rent the entire estate which is perfect for large families! View 5 Saltern’s Cottage now! Bird watching is great and you can also watch the sunset overlooking the Tybee Creek.



This beautiful home sits on Tybee Creek and beckons you to watch the dolphins, pelicans and kite boarders celebrating this pristine setting.
The entrance and garage are located past 5 Salterns towards the end of the fenced area farthest from the street. Entry is on the ground level. Your access to the lawn is on the right side of the home which leads to the shared dock.  7 Salterns has been recently updated with tiled and hardwood flooring. Pool Table Added in 2018!!

New kitchen (gourmet with decorator custom cabinetry and upscale appliances. This lovely town home has its main living level on the second level (one flight of stairs) that accesses a nice patio overlooking the Back River and lawn. Adjoining the living room is a large kitchen that is fully appointed for preparing gourmet meals. The dine on counter seats 4 and dining table for 6. The open floor plan allows those gathered in the kitchen to an unobstructed view Tybee Creek and all of the 18 islands that comprise Little Tybee, an uninhabited series of islands that people from all over the world love to explore.
Also on the living level of the home are 2 bedrooms.
BEDROOM 1- First King bedroom has a full bath with tub/shower just steps from your bedroom door.
BEDROOM 2- Second bedroom features twin bunks, as well as a separate full bed. This room has private full bath with tub/shower and no view.
BEDROOM 3- The King Master Suite is on the top floor of the home with spacious walk in closet and large master bath with Jacuzzi and shower. Watch the sunset from your private patio off King Master Bedroom. 
Stroll down the walkway to the dock and enjoy your coffee under the covered dock or cast a line for fish, shrimp or crabs! This is a shared dock for both sides of the duplex. The lawn is great for outdoor seating, dining or just relaxing and watching the sunset. The lawn is fenced and no separate fence to divide one property from the other. Laundry room on living level of this home.
Parking for 3 (including garage parking for 2).
Non smoking. Pets under 25lbs only.

If there are gaps between reservations of at least 2 nights, we will reserve those days.

Fabulous property

"Wendy & Mark have a fabulous house -- we stayed at Salterns 7 & they (the owners of the property) were staying at 5 next door which was fun. We've been coming to Tybee for over 30 years staying at different properties, & wanted a place with a better view, & this one was over the top fantastic. The house is immaculate, my wife said the kitchen was stocked better than any rental we've ever had, & the 7 of us had a really great time. Hopefully it'll be available next year cause we're planning on renting it again."

Best Vacation Rental We've Stayed In

"This was our 2nd stay @ Salterns 7 - very clean, very comfortable furnishings, kitchen is better stocked than mine at home, plenty of towels/washclothes, FULLY fenced yard for the dogs (we've stayed at others that claimed to be fenced only to find holes big enough for my Westies to escape), the dock is amazing - very good condition also. We drove from Ohio to go to the St Patty's Day Parade in Savannah-but once we got back to Tybee & Salterns 7 we didn't want to leave so we skipped the parade! No regrets either! This location is perfect - very quiet & peaceful but the South Beach action is just a 5 minute walk, one minute bike ride - best of both worlds! We did celebrate St Patty's Day at South Beach - easy/short walk back to the house so no need to even move your car once you arrive! We were really excited to find a pool table was added since our last stay - didn't see that in the description - great for evening fun! The outdoor furniture on the balcony was also updated since our last stay - what they had before was already nice! Very easy booking & friendly service from Oceanfront Cottages as well - they were happy to accommodate our late arrival both trips due to unexpected delays in our travels with no questions asked. Haven't even been back in Ohio for 24 hours and already called to get 2019 rates - will be back for sure!!"

Amazing

"We didn't stay in 7 but we stayed in 5 and they are pretty much a mirror image of each other. We had 3 teens and my husband and I. This by far was the best vacation house we have ever stayed in. It was beautiful inside and out. Very clean!!! Beds were very comfortable except my husband didn't care for the master bed but I felt it was fine. Beautiful sunsets and great fishing off of the dock. It does get a little busy at the kayak launch but it wasn't bad. You have everything that is needed in the kitchen but you will need to bring sheet trays. I can't say enough about this property!!! Everyone in the family voted best vacation house out of the 16 we have stayed in. "

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS CONCERNING THIS PROPERTY

I recently viewed this house in person and do like it, but I am not sure about the parking. Are both sides of the house rentable

Yes, both sides are rentable. #7 Saltern's  is a 3 bedroom, and #5 Saltern's is also a 3 bedroom. They can both rented together or separately pending availability.

How many blocks are you from the beach, and is there a bike rental place nearby?

This unit is waterfront, with attached dock for fishing. There is a small beach near the dock. The bike rental place recommended is Tim's Beach Gear and he delivers.
