A 5 Night Minimum is required on all stays in June, July, and August. Most Properties require a 3-night minimum stay during Mid Season dates. 2 Night stays considered during Off Season dates. If there are gaps between reservations, that are less than the required minimum night stay, we will reserve those days.
Check-in begins after 3:00 pm on the designated arrival date of your reservation. Guests are not permitted on the home premises before the property is ready to occupy. If you should arrive in town early we recommend spending a few hours in Historic Savannah, Georgia or visit one of the local Tybee Island restaurants or artist shops.
Checkout: All properties must be vacated no later than 10:00 am on the designated check-out date.
All reservations become binding upon Oceanfront Cottage Rentals, LLC receipt of the non-refundable rental fee required at the time the reservation is made. If the reservation is canceled, by Guest, for any reason, the non-refundable rental fee shall be forfeited unless Oceanfront Cottage Rentals, LLC can re-rent the property for the same dates. The refund will exclude the processing fee and any CSA trip insurance that was paid. Trip Interruption/Cancellation Insurance is recommended. You may purchase the insurance through Oceanfront Cottage Rentals, LLC. Oceanfront Cottage Rentals partners with CSA Travel protection to offer this to our guests. All claims must be submitted to CSA Travel Protection and not Oceanfront Cottage Rentals, LLC. Please contact 866-999-4018 for further details and questions concerning CSA Travel Protection Insurance. Oceanfront Cottages is not a licensed agent for CSA.
Weather-Related Conditions and/or Acts of God
Refunds or credits will NOT be issued due to weather-related conditions and/or Acts of God that may hinder your trip. If an event such as this occurs, Oceanfront Cottage Rentals will assess the situation and for a plan of action to address affected reservations. Trip Interruption/Cancellation Insurance is available through Oceanfront Cottage Rentals, LLC and other 3rd party vendors to cover most extreme weather-related circumstances that would result in cancellation. This insurance is highly recommended.
If OWNER’S property is designated as a “pet-friendly” property, GUEST is responsible for the cleaning up and/or removal of all pet excrement. Homes allowing pets are limited to one mature house-trained dog, cats are not permitted. There is an individual weight/size/breed limitation, it is different for each home. It is at the owners' discretion. An additional fee of $95 for a single pet, and $65 for multiple pets is required. Tybee Island is very pet-friendly but, unfortunately PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE BEACH. We have two great dog parks!
You must be 25 years (or older) to reserve a vacation rental with Oceanfront Cottage Rentals. A valid ID is required at check-in to confirm renter's age.
Oceanfront Cottage Rentals, LLC does not rent properties for the purpose of celebrating an event (Graduation or Prom related, Birthday Parties, Wedding Receptions, etc.) or to individuals whose intention is to allow people on the property in excess of the occupancy limits of the Property for any reason. VIOLATION OF THIS POLICY MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION FROM THE PROPERTY WITH NO REFUND OF ANY RENTAL CHARGES.
Occupancy Limits must not be exceeded for any reason. Violation is a breach of contract and will result in expedited eviction.
Smoking is not permitted inside ANY of our rental properties. If there is evidence that smoking has occurred inside the property you will be charged an additional $150 cleaning and ionization service fee. This policy is STRICTLY ENFORCED and IS NOT covered by the Damage Protection Plan. Smoking is only permitted on the outside balconies/decks.
While our goal is total accuracy, Oceanfront Cottage Rentals, LLC is not responsible for changes made to the property by the owners without our knowledge or for input errors in our brochures or website. Matters of personal taste, style and quality may vary from unit to unit. We make every effort to accurately relay property information via pictures, descriptions, relative pricing and knowledgeable staff; however, property descriptions, contents, and rental rates are subject to change.
We have a full-time maintenance crew that is ready to assist with maintenance issues. We do ask that all non-critical issues be reported during operating office hours. We cannot guarantee the operation of all appliances, our staff makes every effort to keep the equipment and appliances in good working order through preventative maintenance and inspections. It is expected that major systems in and around the premises including, but not limited to, air conditioning, washer, dryer, refrigerator, hot tub, etc., as well as utility services, could potentially break or be disrupted from time to time. We do have an after hours emergency hot line for emergency maintenance issues. An after business hours emergency will only include issues with the Air Conditioning, Heat or issues that could be harmful to our guests. Issues related to TV and Internet are NOT considered a valid after hours "Emergency" at the beach! Agents, authorized employees or repairmen may enter the premises during business hours for purposes connected with repair, care or maintenance of the rental unit. We will do our best to have any malfunction repaired quickly; however, NO DISCOUNTS OR REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR EQUIPMENT OR APPLIANCE FAILURE.
Your unit will be equipped with bed linens, bath and kitchen towels and bath, and kitchen amenities. Our housekeepers will clean the rental unit after you check out. Additional cleaning services during your rental period may be arranged at an additional charge. At the end of your stay, you need to take out all garbage, wash and leave all dishes, utensils, etc. clean and ready for the next renter and return all furniture to its original location to avoid additional housekeeping charges.
