If you love the beach Tybee Island is your perfect place. Tybee has 7 miles of newly re-nourished beach. Whether you like a quiet beach away from all the action or a more bust beach with a lot going on Tybee has it for you. The north end of the Island is more secluded and residential so the beaches tend to be more quiet. The south end is where all the shops and most of the restaurants are. The beach on the south end also offers a great pavilion and pier.

Tybee Island is abundant with live music and over 35 restaurants. Many restaurants also have live entertainment while you enjoy a casual meal. You can walk along the Strand near the Pier and Pavilion and visit many restaurants and hear the bands. Meet Miss Sylvia at Doc’s Bar. She just turned 100 and still plays tambourine and maraca. Dance the night away or just relax and enjoy the ambiance.
Take a relaxing walk on the beach or take a Historic Savannah Tour downtown. Visit one of our many galleries and shops. Take a relaxing Dolphin Tour. Go birding with one of our many naturalists, take an eco tour, visit Little Tybee Island and explore a barrier island. Spend the morning sunrise on a group kayak tour. Bring your camera!
